I had this rod originally built in about 1973 by Glen Pace of P & P Tackle in Ft. Myers, Florida. The blank is a special Washington State fiberglass that was the best of the best at the time. It has a very slow (soft) action, that makes every trout feel like a big trout. It's like having a 6 1/2 ft. noodle rod. I had the rod rebuilt a few years ago using an unusual "fuzzy" feel handle material, Fugi FPS-H22 reel seat, and 6 Fugi double foot guides. It does have my name on it, across from the P & P Marque, and the only marks on it are some light scratches in one area from being in the rod rack all these years, and the hook keeper in front of the handle is missing. The finish on all the exposed parts of the rods other than the wraps is all original. I never used the rod again after I had it rebuilt.
