August is traditionally one of the toughest fishing months in south Florida. The extreme heat becomes oppresive, and guides and fish alike become lethargic. On a day when bait was tough and the wind was east, Bo Mack pulled off the best single angler total for the month with around 2 dozen reds, snook, and trout in the boat. Besides that, he's a lot of fun. Way to go, Bo!
