Roy Hobbs had been a good friend and customer for about ten years. I'm glad that in this first year of putting "Angler of the Month" on the Web, Roy takes top honors for August.
Roy, brought his visiting brother-in-law Duane, from Georgia, over from Kissimmee for a day of fishing on August 1st. Roy and Duane caught 6 redfish to 25 inches, 15 snook, including quite a few keepers, 4 trout, 1 snapper, and too many jacks and ladyfish to count. They just barely beat out Dr. & Mrs. Gary Shierling, of Ft. Myers, for top honors.
