BarHopp'R III is a 17ft. Talon F-16 flats boat with an air-entrapment tunnel hull, and nearly 9 ft. of beam stem to stern. It's equipped with a poling platform, a large circular live well under the console seat ABOVE floor level, a Power Pole hydraulic shallow water anchor system, a hyraulic jack-plate, a MinnKota 74 pound thrust Rip Tide trolling motor, a 20 ft. G-Loomis pushpole, and a 150 HP 2.6 liter Yamaha V-6 outboard motor. It's a big, roomy, and stable fishing platform that will run and float in very shallow water without harm to the delicate seagrasses. She's capable of speeds in excess of 60 MPH. She's seafoam green on the hull, and white on the deck, with matching upholstery on the console seat and the rear seats.
Typical flats boats can handle only the captain and two customers comfortably. Not, so the BarHopp'R. She can handle parties of three with no problem. Accessories on board include an Nikon Coolpix 5200 digital/video camera to record your trip pictures, a Nextel cell phone with walkie-talkie, Type I PFD's, flares, tool kit, first aid kit, and storage for some 20 rods.
Because of her large decks, the BarHopp'R is perfect for the angler who is confined to a wheelchair and cannot fish from a conventional flats boat. If you are an angler of advanced age who is missing the fun of fishing the flats because you have a hard time keeping your balance in conventional skiffs, fear not, the BarHopp'R is extremely stable. You will be very comfortable fishing from this platform.
