Email is by far the best means of communication with me for booking a kayak trip. I always have a computer with me, except on the water, but am frequently away from phones. You can call my cell phone at 1-239-633-5851. If you don't reach me there, call my office number at 239-628-3522. Remember that fishing guides don't have secretaries. If I am on the water you will reach my answering service. Email is the PREFERRED method of communication. If you E-Mail, it will sit in my box until I return and get the computer fired up. Please leave your name, email address (if phone message), a number where you can be reached, the size of your party, the area you would like to fish, if you have a preference, and the dates you have available to fish. Please, be patient, allow time for me to return your call or email. I will check the tides, and recommend the best days to insure your success. Then I will contact you. Both your call and you patience will be appreciated.
IMPORTANT! Remember, that once you have notified me that you want to book a date, you will receive a CONFIRMATION from me via email (phone, if no email) that your day is booked, and a request for a DEPOSIT to hold the day. If you don't receive a confirmation, you ARE NOT confirmed. If I don't receive your deposit, I will not be waiting on you at the launch site come fishing day. ALL customers must make a deposit of at least $100.00 to insure that we are both at the designated launch site and ready to fish on your chosen day.
I mention confirmations and deposits because, although email failures are rare, they do occur, especially in this world of spam/antispam we live in. Something as simple as forgetting to put a subject on your email, can land your email in my SPAM basket. I often find that my replies to email inquiries wind up in the customers' SPAM folder. PLEASE! Afer sending your first email to me, be sure you add my address to your approved list in your SPAM filter, so that my reply will get to you. I don't want you wondering why I haven't replied to your email inquiry, when my reply is sitting right in your SPAM folder. Also, telephone messages often are so poor in quality that I can not decipher them. This can occur because of poor cellphone transmission, bad telephone lines, speaking too fast, or not talking directly into your phone. That's why I prefer email!
So, once you send me a confirmation that you want to fish on a given date, make sure you receive a final confirmation from me. If it is not forthcoming, please follow up to find out why.
My address for deposit is:
