Mike and Mark win the December honors, not so much for the fish they actually caught, as their trip was less than two hours, but for the quality of the fish they caught in that time, and for their courage in deciding to fish with some very bad weather on our doorstep. In fact, we had no idea just how bad!
In the short time we got to fish, Mark and Mike caught around 8 beautiful snook up to around 12 pounds, along with a couple of nice trout. They hung in there right until the bad weather hit, and I had to insist we run for cover. It turned out to be the worse weather I've ever been caught on the water in. You can get the details by reading the report for the week of 12/27/97.
Mike and Mark were so impressed by the fight of the snook they caught, they vowed to return for another go at them. Good job, guys!
