Hello Butch,
Thanks for super nice pictures and a fun write up about our great trip with you last Thursday. It was a great day and a great memory. Danielle and I both Had a lot of fun and caught more Snook in one time than we ever have before. And as you stated, Dani caught her first snook - what a treat. Even though I have been an avid fisherman all my life and fished for different types of fish in many different places we learned a lot of excellent techniques to enhanche our skills from you. Looking at your impressive Web Site is incredibly informing and you quickly share information to help anglers. Dani and I were very impressed with your adamant support of quality ecological practices and respect for the ongoing conservation of Pine Island Sound's delicate bio balance.
I was talking to my wife, Lori about how you explained significance of moving tidal water for fish to feed. As a Biology Educator she fest one of the reasons for this is the moving water carries oxygen from the flats plants and gives the predator fish energy to feed. During still water there is not enough oxygen in the water to provide giddyup movement to catch prey.
I enjoyed using your Shimano reels and Loomis rods. I wouldn't mind stopping by to pick up a couple of rigs. I could not see the rod slide show...when I clicked on it it jumped up to the Snook.
Anyhew, nice to spend time with who I felt was a true pro. Hope to get together with you and swap a few stories when time permits.
