Hi Captain Butch and a very Merry Christmas to you!
Beth and I greatly enjoyed your fishing report. It was fun to read it today and relieve a great day on the waters of Pine Island Sound. On Saturday, December 20th, we went kayaking around Buck Key from 'Tween Waters Inn armed with a ultra light spinning rod and some plastic "Blaze" lures in shrimp and baitfish designs. Once I found a few potholes, we enjoyed great action on trout and ladyfish. But stringent cast quotas, I managed to tie Beth in total fish...about eight each in two hours. Good fun indeed. We returned to Baltimore on Monday and celebrated a family Christmas last night with our four children and their respective spouses, plus four grandchildren.
Needless to say, but I'll write it anyway, you are a superb guide, angler, and general human being. It was a pleasure to spend some hours with you in the place you love. Beth and I will certainly return to Sanibel, Captiva, or St. James City and hope to fish with you again. Actually, I will do my best to put together a group next year so you don't have another "one trip week!"
