Thanks for a great trip on Friday! I had a blast in the kayak. It is very peaceful and you are definitely fishing, not spectating. A little more catching would have been nice, but I honestly haven't fished artificials in years, so I was definitely sloppy and should have had another 3 or 4 fish to the boat.

I love the Ultimates. If there was anything I didn't like, it is that the boat is kinda wide, and being as short as I am, I felt like I had to lean side to side to get a good angle on the paddle in the water. Practice and maybe raising the seat a couple inches would fix that. Very stable and comfortable. Even with sitting side saddle half the time, I had no fatigue, soreness, anything.

Thanks again. Can't wait to get out there again. Besides our east side of Estero Bay trip, I think I'd like to do another trip with you and put in at the co op ramp.
