Although October is probably the best month of the year for redfish in southwest Florida, Ron wins the AOM Award for snook. There were many of my customers in the running for Angler of the Month for October, as there were many fabulous days of fishing, with big numbers. Ron not only racked up the best single angler total for the month, but he also landed the best fish of the month, and got the Slam.

Ron put together a great morning of snook fishing which included 25 or more snook to 15.5 lbs., a redfish, 2 trout, 3 jacks, and 6 - 8 ladyfish. Great job, Ron! You got da Slam, and you da man for October!
