Butchie,
I want to sell my flats boat. It’s at Naples Marina (behind Naples Airport) and only has about 9 hours on it. I paid $63,000.00 for it! I don’t think there was anything that could be ordered with the boat that wasn’t! If you know anyone who may be interested here’s all the details:
2005 Release 21 Tarpon Bay with Suzuki DF250 HP 4-stroke (with remainder of 5 year warranty)
Max. speed is over 70 MPH.
Boat has about 10 total hours on it and has only been in the water those 10 hours. Otherwise it has been (and is) in Naples Marina Sale’s inside (dry) showroom.
Trailer is a dual axel Aluminum, surge brakes, with optional lockable toolbox and spare wheel/tire.

Here’s some pictures and info:
With standard construction features like: Kevlar reinforced hull & unibody construction along with a zero hull failure track record since we started building the Release Boats in 1983. It is easy to understand why we have been able to increase our hull warranty once again. Release Boats is proud to announce that our hull warranty is now a limited lifetime hull warranty and it is also transferable {see manufacturer for details}. We were first to introduce unibody construction to the Flats Boat industry in the early 1980’s with our first flats boat. Today, the majority of the flats boat manufacturers have followed our innovation with this type of construction technology and gone away from the 3-piece construction that had been prevalent in the Flats Boat industry. Since 1983 every one of our boats has been hand-built with pride by experienced craftsmen paying the highest attention to detail. We have produced dozens of our Release Boats for Law Enforcement agencies. Two of these agencies have had their Release Boats in service for over a decade; using them several hundred days a year and they are still in service today.
Reasons like these are why our track record for construction speaks for itself.
RIDE
Many of the Law Enforcement Departments choose Release Boats because of our unmatched versatility, durability & reliability. They like the fact that our boat tames rough water smoothly while most importantly keeping them dry & comfortable. This along with the Releases’ amazing stability & capability of running and drafting shallow is why so many departments are turning to Release Boats.
Many top professional fishing guides use our boats every day. Since moving into a Release Boat, every one of them has documented more charters and fewer cancellations per year do to rough weather conditions. The Release keeps them and their customers dry & comfortable through the rough open water to get to the shallow protected areas to catch fish when most others have to stay home.
Let me know if any questions, etc. Naples Marine was asking $52,995.00 for the boat up until this week. They have reduced the price to $49,995.00 and I will have to pay them about $4,000 in commissions unless I sell it myself. If someone wants to buy the boat from me (not Naples Marina) then I only owe them storage fees. Keep in mind I have no way of picking the boat up as we sold both the Avalanche and Escalade, so buyer must be willing to go down and get the boat or pay for someone to bring it up to them.
Thanks for your help!
Tom
