I was on my customary short week vacation during this week, and did not fish. As it happened, I heard from my friend Dave Irwin, of Lake Placid, Florida, who'd done an offshore trip with friends on the 13th, and had a good day. I thought it should be shared here, along with some nice pictures.

Hey Butch,

I did an offshore trip yesterday with my buddies out of Bunch's pass at Ft. Desoto. We were 40 miles out on some hard bottom, we had a great day. Probably caught 40 fish most short red grouper but still in the 15 -19 inch range. We even got into the School dolphin!! Caught ten of them all over 20". The "Keeper pics speak for themselves!! Feel free to share this, and the pictures, with your customers to let them know that the Jack asses that spilled all the oil have not ruined the fishery yet!!! Best of luck buddy, we are all gonna need some!!
