Vice President
Ned was referred to me by Bill Alexander, also of Orlando. Bill and Ned were both staying at the Raddisson Inn in Ft. Myers, and didn't previously know each other. Bill was there solely for the purpose of fishing with me on Friday, September 27th, but we had a day of constant rain and storms, and we wisely decided to cancel. The following day, the weather broke, and Ned and I went fishing.
Ned had a heck of a day catching 26 redfish to 27 inches, 2 snook (lost 4), and a trout. We actually fished from around 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM. Ned opened a beer around 10:00 AM, and at 11:30, when he sat down and ask me to take him home, he said no one would ever believe he was catching so many fish he didn't have time to drink a beer! We only got rained on once.
There were lots of great trips in September, and lots of close contenders for my monthly award, but on a fish per angler basis, Ned gets top honors. Good job, Ned!
