It's Tom Stevens from Tallahassee--the one with the Bronco that died at the ramp. We had a great time fishing with you in June. We learned a lot, but had a lot of fun. Had to have a new transmission-$1800, but that's the way it goes, I guess.

We had a good week at Casey Key, and caught more snook up there. We never did hook a tarpon, but saw a couple get hooked up. My loran also went out, so we couldn't fish offshore, but, oph well.

My son Tommy really liked you and enjoyed the fishing a lot. He decided to go to Sea School and see if he could get his license, and maybe make a few bucks while he paints. I wish I were him fishing and painting--what a life. He passed his test and is waiting for his license. He will be fishing the bay in Sarasota. Of course, he doesn't want to fish every day--which I don't think he will anyway-cause of his art. I'll get him to send you a card when he gets them printed and maybe he can take you out in Sarasota. I'll see it's a free one. I'm sure he would enjoy it and learn from you. Call him sometime when you are home---941-358-9701. I enjoy your fishing reports, and wish I could be there forever fishing for those snook. I love catching them. I guess cause they don't live here. Have a good fall, and maybe we can get together again soon. Thanks for your inspiriation you gave Tommy. I hope he can do well in both his careers.
